The UVic Genome BC Proteomics Centre, working with UBC, has received $2.0 million to continue providing research and services in proteomics

The Proteomics Centre is pleased to announce their success in two new funding initiatives through Genome Canada. Under the Genomics Innovation Network (GIN) and Core Operations Support Funds funding program, the UVic Genome BC Proteomics Centre. working with Dr. Leonard Foster of UBC, has received $2.0 million to continue providing research and services in proteomics to local, national and international researchers.

Under the same Genome Canada GIN funding program, the Proteomics Centre was successful in receiving $319,713 in funding as a member of the multi-node Metabolomics Innovation Centre (TMIC). Total awarded amount to TMIC is $1.9 million.
