  • VIAFest 2009

    The UVic Genome BC Proteomics Centre will be one of the ten presenters at VIAfest - UVIC Student Speed Geeking. This event hosted by VIATeC and the Innovation and Development Corporation (IDC) will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the University of Victoria in the Michelle Pujol Room.

  • Now Open: Centre announces new MS facility available on UVic campus

    The UVic Mass Spectrometry facility, a satellite lab of The UVic Genome BC Proteomics Centre, is now open on the University of Victoria campus. The facility houses three mass spectrometers, a MALDI Time-Of-Flight mass spectrometer and two Q-Trap instruments with electrospray ionization sources (ESI), equipped with on-line HPLC or direct infusion, available for use by UVic staff and students.

  • Brinda Shah awarded Edythe Hembroff-Scheicher scholarship and CSMS Travel Award

    Congratulations to UVic Genome BC Proteomics Center Graduate Student, Brinda Shah, who has been awarded the Edythe Hembroff-Scheicher scholarship in the amount of $6,100.
  • Proteomics Centre Video Tour

    A video tour of the UVic Genome BC Proteomics Centre is now available online. The video lasts approximately 15 minutes and is led by our Technical Operations Manager, Derek Smith.
